                                2.  Spbject said he had obtained infornation in Miani'from PER OSSES
                           crowd that BATISTA would enter Miami fro  the Dominican Republic clan-
                           destinely that night or the folloving morning, and wculd be stooping at
                           the Biltmore Hotel.  He said that he vantged this inforaLion given to
                           Ceneral Cabell and wanted to knowwhetzei or not the Agency want-d him
                           to attempt to obtain further infornation on the subjectzwhich he said
                           ie believed he co-ld do.  I told hi  that he would be called later and he
                           left the following nmbers  in Mia.mi where he could be reacheds
                           Fdanklin 9-1675, which he said was the office frum which he was calling;
                           and HIghland 8-9Ub3 and -HIghland L-5273, apparently homes which he
                           expected to visit that evening.

                                3.  I gave this information to Mr. Gomcz, .C/.., who was still in
                           his office and he instructed me to call Subject and tell him ue were
                           interestedin  mny furthcr info--ation he could obtain concerning
                           .ATISTA's entry into the United States; and to ask Subject to report
                           any rach information to Mr. Justin ^-leichauf, 00 Contacts Representative
                           in Miasni, until Mr.      returned to vashin-ton,

                               .   At zbout 2230 1 reached Sbject  aId told hi- his infonnation
                           had been passed un the line; that we were interested in any additional
                           infor.ation be could obtain and asked hi, to get in-touth vith Mr.
                           C-leichauf. During this conversat!on he said that a mai naned George
                           Cox was in Miami at that time and in talking to hin Cox had implied
                           to Subject that he was employed by CIA. ie asked for any information
                           we mictt have on Cox, describinj hin as in hiq late fifties (:0's);
                           heavy drinker; loud talker; ruznir.: zround with Ada Falk, BATISTA's fcrer
                           ristress; and said he lived in Alexandria, Virginia, and wab employed
                           by ?ortanti Constnrction Coipany in New York. I toli hin I had '1ever
                           hea-d of Mr. Cox but we would Irr hi, knov: later. Subject said that he
