                                           According to a Washinjton Star clipping dated 2 March 1967,
                                    Clay L. S-HAW. who was arrected, indited and is awaiting trial in
                                    connection with the charge that he conspired with Lee Harvey OS:;ALD
                                    and David Wt. FLARIX to assassinate Presidrnt KENNEDY, was described
                                    by one Jesse CORZ as a political liberal who was very admiring' of
                                    President KENNEDY.   According to COD,  S'A  talkedof voting for
                                    KENNEDY   in 196O and wore a KENNEDY for President button. Jesse
                                    COAt  worked with SHAW4 in 1963 at the International Trade Mart in
                                    New Orleans.

                                          Security indices reflect that one Jesse I. COR, Chief Consul
                                    with USIS in the American Emba n in Madras, India, in 1950, was a
                                    friend ofl                      g40S-:Z (c). a former CL covert
                                    agenat who was separated from the-A.ency in October 1952, following a
                                    scrlous security breach w-.hich involved a 2Mrs. Lillian BANTE. of
                                                              aknown to COE.  Mrs. BAXTER   who was
                                   believed to be an American with Indian citizeaship, had formierly been
                                   married to an Anglo-Indian planter in India and was said to have becomse
                                   a proztitute and in 1951 to have been kept by a wealthMarwari7She
                                   was believed to be controlled by Indian Intelli cnce and it was thought
                                   :hat she might be an azent for any of several fooernments including
                                   England and Russia. She was an associate of
                                   and was suspected of stealing security documents from him.
