      eUBJECT:  Contact Feport on Meetig with AMUNG1 NO  -:



         1.  On 5 Sovexber at 1130 hour., - RR. 0-1 and  w:C!FR were met
      at the *ashington Airport by undors.ined. They were then taken by
      taxi to the Yayflower rotel, whcre a room !-ad been reserved ... for
      their use. After having lunch at the hctel, the party djournod to
      the room, where A        as- use given a sort brieft'  on
              the -/T operator who was schediled to meet Z  .NG-1 at
      1L&00  urs.
        2.  At 1LCO hours, the undorrgpd    nt to the le.y  of the hotel
     where Froncisco was waiting wit             hi s escort officer.
            was Instructed to bring F        uscou  to the rom. It was
     agreed in advance of th'is that all -rincipals would with draw from
     the room to give  v1J'50-1 an opportun-ty to talk with Francisco alone,
     Powever, it was sugrested tha =  =-eturn a half hour   before the
     interview was terminated to cl   usnyy  points as to the nature of 9
     Franc1sco's training, or any asects that AMRUYMGl =ight wish to
     clarify.  The interview with Franoisco 6-as ttrminated about 1510
     hours, as AME'-NG-l stated he would be ileasod to have Trancisco

     blished between the principals and a completo understanding was
     reached as to the futurr role of Francisco as the /T operator for
     the AMYL'M rrcup in Cuba.

        3.  At approxinately 1535 hours            pt  in his appearance
     at the room and was introduced to A K  .1as  4. Rorick.   Prior to
     this meeting, '7RL'n-1 was told that Mr. Rodrick was the coordinator
     fbr oerations  and would 11're to disess some o the more specific
     aspects with him, 3rdor to his return to Cuba, Cecil Cartwrighp, who
     had escorted    tG-1    nsghiton,  asked to asI in on this   eting
     along with !eters a'          s he felt that MASH should bo jfully
     informed on Vatever stional matters were discussed with AMMMNG-1
