                               4. Teresa PROENZA told(L- that Mirta AGUIRRES, Cuban intellectual, became
                                  disgusted with the Consejo Nacional do Culturg and left to teach at the
                                  Universidad de Habana. PROENZA said this during a-conversation vith-9
                                  re adviseaoility of working in Cuba. PRCENZA an   9   t  agreed that
                                  they would not want to wor    Cuba.  PRCENZA gthe idea that she
                                  might be gping to Paris. L-o believes 'that Coty SO    0 might have
                                  brought this word back to PROENZA from Habana.

                                  doing a terrific job itc. SINOBAS has been extremey nice tdoL32/since
                                  his return from Habana.

                                7. (Ig)said he has noted an obvious coldness on the part of Manuel VEDA
                                      z, Chief Cuban G-2 in Mexico. -He said he hardly says hello. .*....
                                  (I 7?plans to approach VEGA and if he reasts coldly he will ask him
                                  what is bothering him.

                               Charge, (who is very friendly wil 1-9 since his return), told him to go and
                               see Lic. Ernesto MADERO at the Foreign Cffice fre Mexican a        g agreements .
                                   on  11 June 19f6- Guil.lermo LNU called Manuel VEGA butL_ -/answered the
                               phone. VEA  told ( L9   tell Guillermo that he had not seen the people yet
                               but planned to see Oem and to call on 12 June 63. (CCKKENTr: This one more
                               VEGA contact whose identity is not known.)

                                   called him     he wanted to discuss the Architectural Congress with him.
