The following report was reQeived from Rolando 4ANGUART Julie,
                 AMOT sub-source in .avana.s

                 1. I wrote you in a previous report about my efforts to unite
the different clandestine groups in the wjootern provinces
of Cuba.. A similar effort will be made in the eastern
provinces. I believe that the coming woek I shall be able
to give you a detailed report about the work that has been
                    done.
                 2. At this moment we are making an Inventory of the arma we
can.count on, and when the time comes, I ahal tell you
what war materiel we shall need and. the places whore it
can be received. I hope It may be possible to receive
aid (from. you), as the work which I have been doing is
conaiderable and.I have never asked anything of you. I
have done everything by myself. But thia Is a nation-wide
thing which reQuirea funds and certain commitments.

               3. Don't think that the asea thing Is going to happen that
happened to the 60,000 pesoa sent to the Unidad Revoluoionario
and later the 110,000 pesos sent to solve the problem of
Humberto SORI Marin. These funda never reached their
destination and were managed by Hllario, Polln, and Boria.
Hilerto took anyluch in an embassy, and the other two were
                   captured bw 0l- 2 I ~

               S. ar!_m pasing all tnis infrat1on on to
you so you 6i11 know that I am qorking here and know every-
thing that doeo go on. I mention namies so that youcoan check
the Information. It 10 certain that the last twio mentioned
above have told the 0-2 about the codes. They are still
detained but they have comforts which other priaonera do not
got. There la a atateKent which they made which eaya that
over there (meaning Miamid?) they were told that there were
three different persona in Habana - AMUNG-1, Rafath and
R-11 (does he mean bimaelf?) and that the last person was
not a man of confidence, but the first two were the
appropriate ones (los indicadoo). Ao noon as AMRUNG-1,
Rafael and SORI arrived here in Habana I was aware of the
fact and could have got In touch with them at any given time.
I did not do.eo because I did not need to see them. On the
other hand they did not kno% me or know where to find me,
which is a sign that I was working better and had a better
Intelligence service than they did. I feel they did not have
confidence In me or perhaps thought Ioould not be of service
to them-because of my little experience and youth. They did
not give me any help and did not let me use any of the war
material that was offered me. I want to demonstrate to you
that I am capable of doing the same kind of work, and I mant
-you to recommend me to those gentlemen, whom God keep In gloryl
