                        personalities.   Source lived in Havana during the entire ca1enda jear 1959,
                        working with  the Sugar Stabilization Institute and collecting material for
                        am anialysis or &erveoents   in Cuba since F-idel Castro's victory.

                        nothing whatsoever to do with the provisiona. government whichi all antl-
                        Catroites  expect to see organized In Cuba, following Castro's eventual
                        downfall.  Pay andi his grcq plan to sit 'Lack and let others take part In the
                        provision~al government and1 themselves enter the active political arena on~ly
                    w hen electon~s are held. 7bey plan to do this, because they are convinced,
                        first, that the provisional government will make a lot of eneiSes for itself,
                        and, second, because they are sure that their group Is the onl2y politIcal
                        haven where those people vho supported Castro originally, but ivbo are ncv
                        opposed to him, can find shelter and remain true to their ideals.  7bis Is
                        merely another way of stating, the Raj group's orIginal conviction1 that thiey
                        slone are the supporters of thie revolution In Cuba, the rev'oluftion Vhich
                        io began, but which he then betrayed.- Consequently, they are going to
                        let the other groups demonstrate their incapacity during the period of th~e
                        provisional governmenit. Oncee that Incapacity &hall have been demonstrated,
