       Julien Btaille
PhD, is associate Professor of Law at the University of Toulouse Capitole. He is
specialized in constitutional law, administrative law as well as environmental
law. In his PhD research he focused on the enforcement of environmental law.
His research activities are carried out within the scope of TInstitut des 6tudes
juridiques de l'urbanisme, de la construction et de l'environnement (IEJUC)'.

       Ludwig Krdmer
Dr. iur., studied law and history in Kiel, Miinchen and Paris (ENA).Judge at the
Landgericht Kiel (1969 till 2004). Official of the Commission of the European
Community,  environmental  department  (1972 till 2004). Since then retired
from both functions. LL.D University Hamburg. Visiting Professor at University
College London. Running an environmental law consultancy Derecho y Me-
dio Ambiente in Madrid. Working with ClientEarth, an environmental NGO.
Publication of some 20 books and more than 24o articles on EU environmental
law.

       Kleoniki Pouikli
Dr. iur, is Course Director in Environmental Law at the ERA Academy of Euro-
pean Law, Trier (Germany) and Post-Doctoral Researcher at the National and
Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece).

       Hendrik Schoukens
PhD, is post-doc researcher at the Department of European, Public and In-
ternational Ghent University. His research topics include EU biodiversity law,
climate change litigation, rights of nature, EIA and access to justice. Besides,
Hendrik has also been an environmental lawyer at the bar of Ghent for more
than ten years. In this capacity he handled several seminal important nature
protection cases before Belgian courts.
