Pursuant to section 801(a)(2)(A) of title 5, United States Code, this is our report on a
major rule promulgated by the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) entitled Medicare and Medicaid Programs;
Organ Procurement Organizations Conditions for Coverage: Revisions to the Outcome
Measure Requirements for Organ Procurement Organizations (RIN: 0938-AU02). We
received the rule on November 25, 2020. It was published in the Federal Register as a
final rule on December 2, 2020. 85 Fed. Reg. 77898. The effective date of this final
rule is February 1, 2021.
