Dear Mr. Loynachan;

     We refer to your letter of December 11, 1979,
concerning the debarment, on July 27, 1979, of
Uniroyal Inc. for violation of Executive Order
11246. On November 1, 1979, Uniroyal Inc. was
removed from our debarred bidders list and was
reinstated as an eligible bidder on Government
contracts under Executive Order 11246. As
regards the removal of the above prohibition, no
further action is required by your office.

     Enclosed for your information is a copy of
a mailgram sent to all Government agencies by
the Department of Housing and Urban Development
and a copy of our interim debarred bidders list
of November 1, 1979. If you have any further
questions, please contact Floyd Phillips, an
attorney on our staff, on (202) 275-6182.

                     Sincerely yours,

                          ROBERT Y STRONG
