Lt. Col. C. G. Hietan, an Acedunting and Finance
Officer, requested P decision concerning a claim by an Air Force
officer for real estate a.id temporary gatters expenses incurret
incident to a permanent chango of station as a civilian
employee. Civilian Air Force employee agreed to remain in
Governmtnt for a year following transfer, but entered Air Force
ar*ve duty in less time. As he was still a Government employee
and did not breach transportation agreement, real estat¼
expenses were reimbursable. Expenses of 6-week apartment lease,
suitable only for transferred claimant whose family remained at
