The audit report of the National Voman's Relief Corps,
Auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic, for the year ended
September 30, 1977, was reviewed to determine whether the zeport
ccmplied with the financial reporting requiremcats for federally
chartered corporations. The report was prepared by a firm of
certified pu')lic accountaats. It included a statement of the
scope of audit and the auditorms opinion that the financial
statements precert fairly, on a case basis, the financial
posit..on of the organization at September 30, 1977, and the
results of operations from cash transactions and changes in fund
oalancc3 for the year then ended in conformity with generally
accepted accostming principles applied on a consistent basis.
The audit and financial reporting requirements of legislation
