We have received your letter dated April 7, 1981, requesting us to) assume certain operational duties formerly performed by the Commission. We, will be pleased to assume those duties. The duties listed below have been assigned to the Financial Systems group in our Accounting and Financial Management Division., -Inquiries regarding these tasks should be directed to Mrs. Virginia Robinson, who may be contacted on 275-5071. _l. Review any changes in the scope of workjmade pursuant to para- graph 2 of the contract between the City and the Commission dated April 8, 1981,cand recommend approval or disapproval to the Commission within the 20-day Commission review period. ) I-- 2. Within 10 days after submission by the District,__comment on and/or make recommendations about proposals, subcontracts, and amendments to determine compliance with the scope of work. 3. Evaluate monthly progress reports prepared by the project man- ager on the status of the work and report to the Commission. 4. Send a list of signed contracts and contract amendments monthly to the Commission. 5. Monitor work performed pursuant to the contract between the City and Commission dated April 8, 1981, and report to the Commission as needed.D (LjThe balance of the requested duties_ listed below,have been assigned to the Office of Financial Management. Inquiries regarding these tasks should be directed to Mr. David E. Bryant, Jr., who may be contacted on 275-5512. 1. Act as certifying officer for the Commission. 2. Provide a monthly accounting to the District and the Commission of the disbursements we make to the District as reimbursements for payments made to subcontractors.
