The 1982 budget provides spending
increases for major programs deemed
to be priorities. Fiscal year 1982
spending will increase by $76.6
billion, or about 12 percent, net of
receipts. Increases in receipts are
projected at $140.3 billion.

Funding for agencies and programs
under jurisdiction of the Senate
Select Committee on Small Business
will decrease by $2.3 billion or
68 percent in fiscal year 1982. The
decrease is a result of a decision
not to fund the Small Business
Administration's Disaster Loan Fund
in fiscal year 1982.
