The reasonableness of the increase proposed by the
National Reporting Council in dai!g, ordinary, and extra copy
rates Faid by Congress to commercial firms for reporting and
transcribing Senate and House committee hearings was
investigated. Findings/Conclusions: Information of a
proprietary nature dealing with the reporting firms$ costs of
operations and profits is included, possibly prohibiting further
release of the report. Recommendations: Some tate increases
should be granted, but they should not bte as large as those
