           Interior Laurance E. Lynn, Jr,, asked th 't our decision of October 31,
           1972, 52 Co~p   Can* 248, pertaining to thea asification of the Alaska

           placed in the Fund after completion of the statutory enrollment period.
           The Fund was established pursuant to tho PJ.A~ka Native ClaivioSettlement
           Act (hereafter called the Act**)t Pub. L. 92-.203, approved Pecember 18,

               11r, Lynn also asked whether the appropriate date for the initial
           distribution of monies in the Fund to the Regional Corporationu3which
  !        are the statutory diotributcoa is Decanber 17, 1973 - the data on which
           it Jn anticipated that the enrollment of Alaskan natives, required by
           section 5 cf the Act, will be coeplbtod - or Weather 31, 1973, the last
