question whether, in the alternative, it would be proper to allow her to
retaiu a portion of the jury duty fee equal to her transportation expenses.

     Itlaea and related allowances are authorited by 5 U.S.C. 5704(a) only
when an employee is en aed on officlal businese for tho United States

     With recard to permitting Mrs. Brandy to retain a portion of har Jury
foe equal to nitleao expenses, the propriety of this ction would lie con-
trolled by State and Federal tatutea.   In this reard 5 U.S.C. 5515
provides as follows:
