Essentially you contend that th Environmental Imptct Statement prepared by GSA pursuant to the National Mvironmental Policy Act cf 1969 is inadeoquate for various reasont and that the sale should be postponcd uictl an adequate statement ti prepared, circulated, and other aiterrattves to a sale considered. The guidelines issued by the Council on Environmental Quality (36 Fed. Reg. 7724) and implementing orders of the various agenciet (for current irovis),ons regarding property sales by GSA see Y Fed. Reg. 555) provtde for obtaining the views of interestel parties resarding environmenttl considerations of proposed Government action. Objections in terms of the effect on the environment may be raised at the approptiate time.
