The President's ninth special message, dated January 6, 1976, contained a proposed rescission (R76-28A) of $62,670,000 in budget authority for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Planning and Development, Rehabilitation Loan Fund. The Congress did not concur with the rescission proposal and the 45 days of continuous session ended on March 12, 1976. We have confirmed that OMB apportioned the budget authority and HUD has made it available for use. Five presidential messages reporting deferral of budget authority were rejected by congressional action as shown in the schedule on the following page. ACG-76-20 -7--4-ki' Q qqos. b qq ()5
