         SavEnertay Citations to American industry. You vere p.irticularly
         interested in possible duplication of efforts; y t~e Departm'.nt of
         Comrce in the conservation area with energy p,-oqramF of othier Federal
         agencies, especially the Federal Energy Administration.

             On April 3, 1975, we net with your office and discussed the
         relationship of your requst to our-.olngoig work in the enerly conser-
         vation area. ,. are presently involved in a review of edar: l efforts
         to achieve energy conservation in the Nation. As pa.rt of tnit work,
         ';e will ba addressing the coordination of the Federal e:t'rt aong
         the responsible agencies, including the Department of Cc-mer--e.

             As a result of our discussions with your office, i.: was agreed
