RELATIVE TO THE
Prefent Polture of Affairs in the Colonies;
IN    WHICH
The fuppofed Violation of Charters, and the feveral
Grievances complained of, are particularly difcuffed,
and the Conferences of an Attemptr-owardsInde-
pendency fet in a true Light.
And it is farther enaaed and declared by the Authority
aforefaid, That all Laws, By-Laws, Ufages, or Cuf-
toms, at this Time, or which herpafter thall be in
Pra&ice, or endeawoured, or pretended to be in Force, or
Praice, in any of the faid Plantations, which are in
any-wife repugnant to the before-mentioned Laws, or
any of them, fo far as they do relate to the faid Plan-
tations, or any of them, or which are any-wife repug-
nant to this prefent M, or to any other Law hereafter
to be made in this Kingdom, fo far as fuch Law thall re-
late to and mention the faid Plantations, are illegal,
pull, and void, to all Intents and Purpofes whatfo-
