with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS OF THE RESOLUTION
The resolution provides for consideration of S. 524, the Com-
prehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016, under a closed

The resolution directs the Clerk to, in forming the amendment
in the nature of a substitute, assign appropriate designations, con-
form cross-references and provisions for short titles, and authorizes
the Clerk to make technical and conforming changes.
The resolution provides that upon passage of S. 524, the title of
such bill is amended as specified in the resolution.
