handle is hein.congrecreports/crptxaftn0001 and id is 1 raw text is: AUTHENTICATED ..GOVERNMENT INFORMATION 118TH CONGRESS REPORT 1st Session SENATE 118-108 FURTHER REVISED ALLOCATION TO SUBCOMMITTEES OF BUDGET TOTALS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024 OCTOBER 25, 2023-Ordered to be printed Mrs. MURRAY, from the Committee on Appropriations, submitted the following REPORT The Committee on Appropriations submits the following report revising the allocations to its subcommittees for fiscal year 2024 set forth in Senate Report 118-45 (June 22, 2023) and revised in Sen- ate Report 118-57 (July 12, 2023), Senate Report 118-69 (July 19, 2023), Senate Report 118-78 (July 26, 2023), and Senate Report 118-98 (September 13, 2023). Section 302(e) of the Congressional Budget Act of 1974, as amended, provides that at any time after a committee reports its allocations, such committee may report to its House an alteration of such allocations. This report is submitted pursuant to this sec- tion. Under the provisions of section 301(a) of the Congressional Budg- et Act, the Congress shall complete action on a concurrent resolu- tion on the budget no later than April 15 of each year. The Con- gressional Budget Act requires that, as soon as practicable after a concurrent resolution on the budget is agreed to, the Committee on Appropriations shall submit to the Senate a report subdividing among its subcommittees the new budget authority and total out- lays allocated to the Committee in the joint explanatory statement accompanying the conference report on such a resolution. On June 3, 2023, the President approved the Fiscal Responsi- bility Act of 2023. Section 121 of that act provides for the Chair- man of the Committee on the Budget to file an allocation, con- sistent with the terms of the Fiscal Responsibility Act, to serve as a section 302(a) allocation for purposes of budget enforcement in the Senate.
