COMMITTEE ON RULES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

The Committee on Rules, having had under consideration House
Resolution 1300, by a record vote of 7 to 4, report the same to the
House with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted.
SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS OF THE RESOLUTION
The resolution waives the requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII
for a two-thirds vote to consider a report from the Committee on
Rules on the same day it is presented to the House with respect
to any resolution reported through the legislative day of July 29,
2022. The resolution provides that section 7 of House Resolution
1289 shall have no force or effect and that clause 7(a)(1) of rule XV
shall not apply through the legislative day of Friday, September 16,
2022.
