                      The Committee on the Judiciary, to whom was referred the bill
                    (H.R. 2368) to amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets
                    Act of 1968 to expand support for police officer family services,
                    stress reduction, and suicide prevention, and for other purposes,
                    having considered the same, report favorably thereon without
                    amendment and recommend that the bill do pass.

                                         Purpose and Summary

                      H.R. 2368, the Supporting and Treating Officers in Crisis Act of
                    2019, would modify an existing, but expired, authorization that
                    provided support to law enforcement officers' (LEO) families to add
                    mental health and suicide prevention programs directed at LEOs.
