                      The Committee on Homeland Security, to whom was referred the
                    bill (H.R. 2083) to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 re-
                    garding the procurement of certain items related to national secu-
                    rity interests for Department of Homeland Security frontline oper-
                    ational components, and for other purposes, having considered the
                    same, report favorably    thereon   with  an  amendment    and   rec-
                    ommend that the bill as amended do pass.

                      The amendment is as follows:
                      Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following:
                    SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
                      This Act may be cited as the Homeland Procurement Reform Act or the HOPR
                    Act.
