Ms. MURKOWSKI, from the Committee on Energy and Natural
Resources, submitted the following
REPORT
[To accompany S. 1548]
The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, to which was
referred the bill (S. 1548) to designate certain land administered by
the Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service in the
State of Oregon as wilderness and national recreation areas and to
make additional wild and scenic river designations in the State of
Oregon, and for other purposes, having considered the same, re-
ports favorably thereon with an amendment in the nature of a sub-
stitute and recommends that the bill, as amended, do pass.
The amendment is as follows:
Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following:
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; TABLE OF CONTENTS.
(a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the Oregon Wildlands Act.
