COLUMBIA COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT
       AGREEMENTS


                 AUGUST 1, 2018.-Ordered to be printed


   Ms. MURKOWSKI, from the Committee on Energy and Natural
               Resources, submitted the following


                       REPORT

                       [To accompany H.R. 2897]

         [Including cost estimate of the Congressional Budget Office]
  The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, to which was
referred the bill (H.R. 2897) to authorize the Mayor of the District
of Columbia and the Director of the National Park Service to enter
into cooperative management agreements for the operation, main-
tenance, and management of units of the National Park System in
the District of Columbia, and for other purposes, having considered
the same, reports favorably thereon with an amendment in the na-
ture of a substitute and an amendment to the title and rec-
ommends that the bill, as amended, do pass.
                         AMENDMENTS
  The amendments are as follows:
  Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the following:
SECTION 1. AUTHORIZING COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE DIS-
       TRICT OF COLUMBIA AND THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR.
  The Secretary of the Interior may enter into a cooperative management agree-
ment with the District of Columbia in accordance with section 101703 of title 54,
United States Code.
  Amend the title so as to read: An Act to authorize the Mayor
of the District of Columbia and the Secretary of the Interior to
enter into cooperative management agreements.
