The Committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred the
bill (H.R. 3635) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act in
order to improve the process whereby medicare administrative con-
tractors issue local coverage determinations under the Medicare
program, and for other purposes, having considered the same, re-
port favorably thereon with an amendment and recommend that
the bill as amended do pass.
