                       The Committee on Energy and Commerce, to whom was referred
                     the bill (H.R. 2278) to extend the authorization of the Uranium
                     Mill Tailing Radiation Control Act of 1978 relating to the disposal
                     site in Mesa County, Colorado, having considered the same, report
                     favorably thereon with amendments and recommend that the bill
                     as amended do pass.
