The Committee on Energy and Commerce, to whom was referred
the bill (H.R. 5686) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act
to require prescription drug plans under Medicare part D to in-
clude information on the adverse effects of opioid overutilization
and of coverage of nonpharmacological therapies and nonopioid
medications or devices used to treat pain, having considered the
same, report favorably thereon without amendment and rec-
ommend that the bill do pass.
