the bill (H.R. 4005) to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act
to allow for medical assistance under Medicaid for inmates during
the 30-day period preceding release from a public institution, hav-
ing considered the same, report favorably thereon with amend-
ments and recommend that the bill as amended do pass.
