                    was  referred the bill (H.R. 4043) to amend   the Inspector General
                    Act  of 1978 to reauthorize  the whistleblower  protection program,
                    and  for other purposes, having  considered  the same, report  favor-
                    ably  thereon  with amendments and recommend that the bill as
                    amended   do pass.
