The Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, to whom was
referred the bill (H.R. 4478) to amend the Foreign Intelligence Sur-
veillance Act of 1978 to improve foreign intelligence collection and
the safeguards, accountability, and oversight of acquisitions of for-
eign intelligence, to extend title VII of such Act, and for other pur-
poses, having considered the same, reports favorably thereon with
an amendment and recommends that the bill as amended do pass.
The amendment is as follows:

(a) SHORT TITLE.-This Act may be cited as the FISA Amendments Reauthoriza-
tion Act of 2017.
