The bill would require the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to coordinate implementation of that strategy and to report to the Congress on the actions it takes to do so. Using information from several federal agencies about similar ongoing efforts, CBO expects that most of the bill's requirements would be met under current policies and programs. CBO estimates that implementing the bill would cost less than $500,000 over the 2020-2024 period; such spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
