handle is hein.congrec/cbo9692 and id is 1 raw text is: August 9, 1993
xEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
FROM: Raymond Hall, Budget Analysis Division /
SUBJECT: Annual Weapons List
Attached is the current version of Selected Weapons
Costs from the President's 1994 Program. The primary
sources for the budget authority and quantities were the
Congressional Data Sheets (CDS) and the Selected
Acquisition Reports (SAR), budget documents submitted by
the Department of Defense to Congress in June 1993. CBO
outlay rates were used to estimate the outlays. These
rates are consistent with the Administration's rates in
most cases. All costs are in millions of current
dollars. Details in the tables may not add to totals
because of rounding.
All Defense Department programs are subject to
change pendin9 the results of the Administration's
Bottom-Up Review, and, therefore, the costs and
quantities presented in this year's Weapons List should
be considered preliminary and subject to change.
The attached list is organized by service, withArmy
weapons data starting on page A-1, Navy and Marine Corps
data starting on page N-1, and Air Force data starting on
page F-1. Joint service or DoD programs are included at
the end, starting on page J-1.
