                                   S. 1007
A bill to amend the Dayton Aviation Heritage Preservation
Act of 1992, and for other purposes

As ordered reported by the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources
                                on July 13, 2016

S. 1007 would change the name of the John W. Berry Sr. Wright Brothers Aviation Center
in Dayton, Ohio, to the John W. Berry Sr. Wright Brothers National Museum. Based on
information provided by the National Park Service, CBO estimates that implementing the
legislation would have no significant impact on the federal budget. CBO expects that the
costs associated with replacing or revising signs and interpretive materials to reflect the
new name would be done in conjunction with scheduled replacement and other routine
maintenance. Enacting S. 1007 would not affect direct spending or revenues; therefore,
pay-as-you-go procedures do not apply.

CBO estimates that enacting S. 1007 would not increase net direct spending or on-budget
deficits in any of the four consecutive 10-year periods beginning in 2027.

S. 1007 contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as defined in the
Unfunded Mandates Reform Act and would not affect the budgets of state, local, or tribal
governments.

The CBO staff contact for this estimate is Jacob Fabian. The estimate was approved by
Theresa Gullo, Assistant Director for Budget Analysis.
