Honorable Doc Hastings
Chairman
Committee on Natural Resources
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Mr. Chairman:
The Congressional Budget Office has reviewed H.R. 4017, a bill to
designate a peak located in Nevada as Mount Reagan, as ordered reported
by the House Committee on Natural Resources on April 9, 2014.
CBO estimates that enacting this legislation would have no significant
effect on the federal budget and would not affect direct spending or
revenues; therefore, pay-as-you-go procedures do not apply. H.R. 4017
contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as defined in the
Unfunded Mandates Reform Act.
If you wish further details on this estimate, we will be pleased to provide
them. The CBO staff contact is Jeff LaFave.
Sincerely,
Douglas W. Elmendorf
