CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE Keith Hall, Director

                         November 17, 2017

Honorable Rob Bishop
Chairman
Committee on Natural Resources
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515

Dear Mr. Chairman:

The Congressional Budget Office has reviewed H.R. 3469, a bill to
designate the bridge located in Blount County, Tennessee, on the Foothills
Parkway (commonly known as Bridge 2) as the Dean Stone Bridge, as
ordered reported by the House Committee on Natural Resources on
November 8, 2017.

CBO estimates that enacting H.R. 3469 would have no significant effect on
the federal budget and would not affect direct spending or revenues;
therefore, pay-as-you-go procedures do not apply. CBO estimates that
enacting H.R. 3469 would not increase net direct spending or on-budget
deficits in any of the four consecutive 10-year periods beginning in 2028.

H.R. 3469 contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as
defined in the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act.

If you wish further details on this estimate, we will be pleased to provide
them.

                                     Sincerely,

                                     Keith Hall
