  BRATTLEBORO,  AUTHORIZED  BY  THE FLOOD  CONTROL  ACT

  DEAR MR. SPEAKER: I am transmitting herewith a report dated
November 29, 1937, from the Chief of Engineers, United States Army,
on examination of, and review of reports on, Connecticut River and
tributaries, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and
Vermont, authorized by the Flood Control Act approved June 22,
1936, and act of Congress approved June 13, 1934, and requested by
resolution of the Committee on Flood Control of the House of Repre-
sentatives, United States, adopted March 27, 1936, together with
accompanying papers and illustration.
