  The Committee  on Appropriations, to whom was referred the bill
(H. R. 9544) making appropriations for the Departments of State and
Justice and for the judiciary, and for the Departments of Commerce
and Labor, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1939, and for other
purposes, report the same to the Senate with various amendments
and present herewith information relative to the changes made:
Amount  of bill as passed House --------------- $130, 074, 832. 00
Amount  of increase by the Senate (net) ---------- 436, 883. 00
      Amount of bill as reported to Senate -------130, 511, 715. 00
Amount  of appropriations, 1938 ----------------127, 898, 305. 34
Amount  of the regular and supplemental estimates,
  1939  ---------------------------------- 131,909,651.73
The bill as reported to the Senate:
    Exceeds the appropriations for 1938 --------- 2,613,409.66
