  efpecially as have Reference, or relate to the ancient
  Method of Praftice, as well before the Statute of Nift
  prius as afterwards, are duly confidered, in order to
  Ihew from whence they arofe.

An Account of the Alterations that have been ti-de from Time
  'to Time for regulating the Courfe of Praffice in the feveral
  Courts,
                     WITH
Such Remarks and Obfervations, as tend to explain and illufirate
             the prefent Mode of Praaice;
                      AND
Pointing out fuch Particulars as would contrall the Proceedings,
  and render them more concfe, plain and fgnificant, and lefs
  expenfive to the Suitors.
