   Three items of immediate interest to the membership have arisen and in
order to communicate with you as rapidly as possible, we have added these
extra pages to your February Bar Journal as it goes to press.
                              SPAIN TRIP
   A few last minute cancellations on the Tennessee Bar Association Con-
tinuing Legal Education trip to Spain have made a limited number of seats
available. In the event that you are interested in taking the trip at this time
please notify the Executive Director at the Tennessee Bar Association Head-
quarters as quickly as possible.
                BOARD ACTION ON FEE SCHEDULE
   At the January 27th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Tennessee
Bar Association, the following action was taken:
      RESOLVED, that the Board of Governors of the Tennessee Bar
   Association hereby rescinds its former action taken on January 10, 1970,
   adopting a Minimum Fee Schedule, and that the presidents of local bar
   associations in Tennessee be so advised so that they may take such
   action as they deem advisable.
 ELECTION OF DELEGATES TO THE TENNESSEE BAR ASSOCIATION
                       HOUSE OF DELEGATES
   The Organizational Meeting of the House of Delegates met in Nashville
on January 25th. One of the purposes of the Organizational Meeting was to
develop an election procedure. Although the final wording on election pro-
cedures has not been completed, elections will be held this year to elect three
delegates and determine the terms of office staggered for one, two and three
years from each Judicial Circuit.
   For a candidate to qualify for election to the House of Delegates, he or
she must be a member of the Tennessee Bar Association in good standing.
Said candidate shall file a petition similar to that appearing on page 25 hereof,
with five signatures of Tennessee Bar Association members in good standing
from the candidate's Judicial Circuit. Nominating petitions shall be filed
with the Executive Director of the Tennessee Bar Association no later than
March 15, 1973.
   Where there is a contested election the Executive Director shall cause
official ballots to be prepared and mailed to all members of the Tennessee Bar
Association in good standing in each Judicial Circuit where a contest exists.
