THE 2012 CONVENTION, TO BE HELD IN COLUMBIA JANUARY
19-22, is shaping up to be one of the best yet! In addition to an
outstanding CLE line-up, U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justices
Antonin Scalia and Stephen Breyer are slated to speak, and the
Benedict College Gospel Choir will perform following an intro-
duction by Hootie & The Blowfish band member Jim Sonefeld.

The Convention offers something for everyone, and this year is
no exception. Here are just a few highlights:
 Attend the Legislative Reception on the Capital Grounds on
Wednesday;
 Network at the President's Welcome Reception on Thursday at
the Columbia Museum of Art;
 Hear remarks by Chief Justice Jean Toal, in addition to the pres-
entation of the Bar Foundation's DuRant Award, at Friday's
Plenary Luncheon;
