Five Elected to Bar Foundation
Grants Committee

Phinney, Bass   and   Green; Charles A.
DeGrandpre of the Manchester law firm of
McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton;
Douglas P. Hill of the Meredith law firm of
Nungesser and Hill and Michael B. King of
Hanover were recently elected to serve on the
New Hampshire Bar Foundation Interest on
Trust Accounts program Grants Committee.
The Grants Committee is charged with

The program, allowing attorneys to earn
interest on small or short-term amounts
which otherwise would not be placed at
interest for the benefit of the individual
client, began in the state in January. New
Hampshire was the sixth state in the country
to have attained approval of the IOTA

Since January, the IOTA program has
attracted 302 lawyer participants from over
40 law firms and as of June 20, has received
$16,115.52 in Interest income. The Interest
money has been forwarded by 20 partici-
pating banks throughout the state. Over 85

New Hampshire Bar Association office will
be closed Monday, July 4.
