At its meeting of September 10, 1954,
the Board of Governors adopted the fol-
lowing resolution:
Resolved, that there he, and hereby
is, created a permanent standing com-
mittee of The Missouri Bar, to be known
as the Committee on Judicial Retirement,
and to be comprised of five (5) members
appointed by the President with the ad-
vice and assistance of the Executive
Committee; and
Be It Further Resolved, that the
Committee be, and hereby is, empowered
to receive information from any source,
whether in a formal manner or other-
wise, and to initiate an inquiry on its
