NEVER IN the history of man-
kind has there been so much said
about communication. They are
divorced (or at war) because of a
complete breakdown of communi-
cation. There is hope for peace
in the world because of the fan-
tastic improvement in the tech-
niques of communication. All
of our problems are magnified, and some of them caused, by the shock of
too much instant communication with consequent over-exposure and over-

have been inaugurated. A more active mechanism has been set up to
influence federal legislation in which lawyers have an interest. An all-out
campaign has been launched to visit all State Bars. Finally, last Fall the
three top ABA officials and their aides formed an ABA Caravan to conduct
intensive and intimate discussions in 8 different locations with the top
executives of each of the bar organizations of the 50 States.
