Don B. Lang
Don B. Lang, who served as president of the Bar Association of the State
of Kansas in 1960-1961, died January 30, 1967, at the University of Kansas
Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., where he had gone for observation. He
was 68 years old.
Mr. Lang was born September 26, 1898, in Lincoln County, and after service
in World War I was graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law.
He then moved to Scott City and became associated with the late R. D.
Armstrong in the practice of law. For the past several years, Mr. Lang was
associated with-James W. Wallace. The firm name is Lang & Wallace.
Mr. Lang was a member of the First Methodist Church, and for many years
was a member of the choir and soloist. He also was a member of various
Masonic bodies, the Scott .City Lions Club, the American College of Trial
Lawyers and the American Bar Association.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie Cook Lang; a daughter, Mrs. Fred
Oldenburg of Tucson, Arizona; and his mother, Mrs. Myrtle B. Lang of Lincoln,
Kansas.
