BULLETIN NUMBER 6                              DECEMBER, 1930
MINUTES OF ANNUAL MEETING OF NEW HAVEN COUNTY BAR
ASSOCIATION HELD OCTOBER 3, 1930
The Annual meeting of the New Haven County Bar Association was
held, pursuant to notice, at 9:45 A. M. in New Haven, Connecticut, on
October 3, 1930. Mr. Harrison Hewitt, Vice-President, presided in the
absence of the President, Mr. Walter J. Walsh.
Mr. David L. Daggett was elected Temporary Secretary in the absence
of the Secretary, Mr. Daniel J. Bailey.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was
unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED: That the New Haven County Bar Association laments
the illness during the summer of its President, Walter J. Walsh,
rejoices in his recovery and, through the medium of this minute,
expresses to him its appreciation of his long and outstanding service
to the Association and the unanimous hope of its membership that full
force and vigor will return so that for many years to come he may
continue to contribute to the administration of justice the unusual
ability that he has long manifested, and that a copy of the foregoing
minute be sent by the Secretary to Mr. Walter J. Walsh.
Mr. James E. Wheeler, Treasurer of the Association, submitted his
Treasurer's Report, which was accepted and ordered on file.
Mr. James E. Wheeler, as Chairman of the Committee on Legal Aid,
submitted a report of such Committee, which was accepted and ordered
on file.
Report of Special Committee on Additional Judges of the Superior
Court read by Mr. David L. Daggett, as Secretary Pro Tem, and the
resolution contained therein adopted.
