our membership.
Immed ately two groups corvered at the Bar Center that
ymbolize the benefits of being connected We met with the
eadership of the WomenS Bar Assoc ation and the Minority
ar Association, not only t make a new connection, but also
to begin the steps of forming a new partnership to explore
common reeds) ideas) and goals. Already plans are underway
for two exc ting projects for the fa I It was and remains my
hope that by working together we can better identi~ and
address the needs of every attorney within our Bar Assoc atior.
In addition) we assembled our committee of Past Presidents
(see page 13) to meet to discuss an issue of critical importance
to many of us: bar assm' at~on elections. Following each annw
ai ecior, we look caref~l1y at the results to evanina votng
trends and patterns. We have learned that each year, more
