INTRODUCTION
This, the thirty-eighth, annual directory of officials and organiza-
tions concerned with wildlife protection and conservation has been
compiled to meet the needs of officials charged with the administra-
tion and enforcement of game laws and for the convenient use of
persons desiring to communicate with officials and organizations con-
cerning wildlife conditions in the several States; the Canadian
Provinces, Newfoundland, and Mexico. It follows the same general
form of previous editions ' and includes only those organizations that
are national or State-wide in character.
Persons contemplating hunting or fishing trips should communi-
cate with the appropriate State officials for information as to the
provisions of State laws before they undertake to hunt or fish.- In
all the States and Canadian Provinces the game laws are published in
pamphlet form and may be obtained upon request to the proper
officials, listed herein.
Communications concerning violations of Federal game laws and
regulations should be addressed to the regional directors of the
Bureau of Biological Survey in the several areas, listed on page 2.
